About Strengths

Why Strengths

Understanding strengths will awaken the potential that lies within your business. With roots in positive psychology, strength-based management encourages organizations to achieve success by leveraging unique differentiators.

The incorporation of Strengths in leadership and team development takes a strategic approach to arranging, aligning, and partnering talents to highlight synergies and excellence within teams.

A New Way of Thinking

Using a strengths-based approach is different than what we have all experienced in our growth. Conventional methods to improve tell us to focus on fixing weaknesses and, essentially, to be being good at everything. This simply is not possible. In fact, we end up spending double our time correcting areas of weakness in order to achieve overall mediocrity.

Strengths-based approaches to personal and professional development identify areas of strength and encourage us to invest in those areas to build expertise in them.

Why is it important to know our strengths? Once we know and understand our talents, we can shape our lives around them, welcoming in success and happiness.

What about our weaknesses? We do not have weaknesses, rather talents that we are less-dominant in. It’s important to acknowledge where these gaps are - not so we work on them, rather so we can identify people who excel in them to create strategic, strengths-based partnerships.

Gallup CliftonStrengths Overview

Your strengths profile is unique to who you are. In fact, your chances of meeting someone with the same Top 5 in the same order is 1 in 33.4 MILLION!

The Gallup strengths assessment tests for 34 specific talents. Your results will number these strengths 1-34 based on their intensity, with the strongest talent at number one. The power of each talent is based on your personal journey and investment in them.

While we may experience subtle shifts in our strengths throughout our lives and careers, we tend to retain many of the same ones over time.

The 34 talents that are evaluated belong to 4 Strength Domains: Executing, Influencing Relationship Building, and Strategic Thinking.

Let’s Grow Your Impact

EmergenceBreaking into a market requires a focused effort to understand that market as well as your identity, your intended customers, and the needs of your intended customers. Equally as important is being able to effectively market and attract your ideal customers.
Rapid Growth & ScalingIn the race to scale a start-up organization and compete within its market, there are substantial human components necessary for the rapid growth phase. Without a viable people strategy focused on hiring, integrating, and optimizing employees, this phase can set back or derail an organization at its most critical time.
Decline or ReinventionAs legacy brands reach the end of maturity, there is a critical point to reinvent or decline. Reinvention doesn’t have to mean a complete pivot, rather it may be a transformation with your people, processes/technologies, or strategy and value proposition. Our team can also prepare you for a profitable exit from your organization.
MaturityAs established brands reach maturity, the degree of growth and success is determined by the strategic alignment of the organization's vision, customer needs, and operational enablers.
